Our sheep are so thankful! See how they wander and graze? After a full month of Henry being a farmer 'out-standing in his field' the fences are complete and we are enjoying the sight of our sheep in our fields enjoying the green grass of home! Henry had help from various kids and even hired some help but he got it done. He is so glad.
We put many sheep out to pasture - the ewes along with a few rams so stay tuned. In five months we should have more sheep to tell you about.
Life has been good on the farm. We have enjoyed a busy summer with a bountiful garden and the tasks of seeding our lawn, emptying the old house, farm chores and gardens to tend. It has been good and now we are busy with some of the same things - but the grass is growing. We purchased a business in town that we are trying to get the hang of and that is proving interesting for this country couple. It will be a balancing act for us as we figure out the demands of the store and the farm and try to keep the kids busy and happy as well!
As with everything, new demands keep us on our toes and make us more appreciative of free time. So I feel more organized and will do my best to update more frequently. Now that I have the organized time!
(that was a simple promise since the last post was in the spring and Hannah did it for us.)
